Import and Export the Configuration

 Import and Export Configuration

1.  To export the configuration file to the server you have to go to Connections to SplashBI Excel Connect  Configuration window which is shown below.

2.Import of instance can be done only for first time.When click on login button we get a add instance option--> A which will Pop-up with a window below.

3.You have to type Instance URL to import the configuration file from the server.If there is no file on the server it will give a message as Configuration settings not found.

4.When you want to export configuration file to the local system you have to click on Export button which will ask you to browse the path of the file to be saved.When you select a folder it will save the file in that folder.

NOTE: Configuration file is an XML file.Only administrator has the rights to keep the configuration file in the server. You can only export the file to your desktop.
