There are multiple ‘Refresh’ buttons so users can decide which best matches their needs by clicking the dropdown under ‘Refresh.’ Generally, ‘Refresh’ buttons are used to update financial statement balances/functions on a current month after posting journals. Users can refresh SplashGL functions by pressing any of the buttons listed below:
1. Refresh Worksheet – this is the default button on the ribbon and the action will refresh the current Excel worksheet.
2. Refresh Selection – users can refresh selected or highlighted cells in Excel with SplashGL functions.
3. Refresh Workbook – this action refreshes all worksheets within a workbook that contains SplashGL functions.
4. Refresh Worksheets – users can select which worksheets to refresh with SplashGL functions.
5. Refresh Options - Users will be able to refresh with the option to select one or all.
a.) Hide Zeros – hide zero balances after refresh.
b.) Expand Segments – expand segments, also known as drill through rollups or drilldown from parent values to child values after refresh.
c.) AutoFit -Excel columns autofit to display values. For example, after refreshing current worksheet GL balances columns with will autofit the column to display the balances
